High Blood Pressure
Blood pressure is otherwise known as vascular pressure. It is due to the excreted force of blood circulation from the blood vessels. Blood is carried over to each part of the body through arteries and veins and when this blood pushes out from the walls of arteries it results in blood pressure.
Blood pressure becomes higher when your heart beats during the time of pumping blood. Blood pressure is of two types they are high blood pressure and low blood pressure. High blood pressure is the most common disease among the people. Now a day adults are affected by blood pressure. High blood pressure is one of the dangerous diseases because it may leads to the risk factors such as heart failure, kidney failure, heart attack and other health related problems. When the heart pumps out the blood, it will force against the walls of arteries and this lead to blood pressure.
Blood pressure number includes systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. When the heart beats at time of pumping it is known as systolic blood pressure, where as the diastolic pressure is due to the increased pressure of blood occurs when heart is in rest. It is very important to know the rate or number of blood pressure because it is one of the ways to identify the level of blood pressure.
Blood pressure of your body differs day by day because it is lower in night time while you sleep and it rises in the morning as you wake up. The blood pressure of a person who wakes up is equal to the same person who stands or sits. If a person’s blood pressure is in the rate of 140/90 and if it stays high then it is high blood pressure and if the rate is 120/80 then it is called as lower blood pressure. It is very hard for your heart to work if you are having high blood pressure.
Some time there will be no reason for blood pressure and this kind of pressure is known as essential or primary high blood pressure. The range of blood pressure is measured in millimeters of mercury or in kilopascals. The measure of arteries of a person having blood pressure is not static but he may have natural variation of heart beat and it is also responsible for stress and other diseases.
Blood pressure is also known as hypertension. The word hypertension is the opposite form of hypotension. The measurement of blood pressure can be measured along with the body temperature. When the blood moves over the arteries, veins, capillary and arterioles the pressure of blood decreases. The blood pressure also refers to arteries pressure and it is measured with the instrument called sphygmomanometer and it uses a column of mercury to report the flow pressure. .
